A new opinion poll carried out by the firm Pulse for Skai has found that most Greeks are worried about the new migration crisis at the country's border with Turkey as well as the coronavirus.

Specifically, the poll found that 83 percent of respondents are worried about the developments at the Greek-Turkish land border, with 62 percent saying they are "very worried."

With opinion polls strongly favouring the centre-right and reformist parties, they and their presidential ally have every motive to push for snap elections as a way to resolve the current political crisis.

The nimble pace at which the government has been working makes it feel as though it's been much longer since the election that brought it to power on July 7.

Some 60 percent of Turks are worried about climate change, according to recent survey conducted by KONDA, which is a research and consultancy firm that specializes in public opinion polling.
