Slovenian archaeologist makes new discoveries about Maya calendar

Slovenian archaeologist Ivan Šprajc has played a key role in a groundbreaking study on the Maya calendar in which researchers found that the Mayan timekeeping system is hundreds of years older than previous research indicated and might have been used as far back as 1100 BC.

Eminent scientist Theodore Papazoglou dies at 57 after contracting coronavirus

The eminent scientist and researcher Theodore Papazoglou has died at the age of 57 after contracting the coronavirus, reports said on Monday. 

Papazoglou passed away at a Brussels hospital after several days in intensive care, the same reports indicated.
