Train crash victim ID’d as Bangladesh man, 33
Greek authorities on Monday announced that they had positively identified the remains of one of the 57 victims of the Tempi train crash, a 33-year-old man from Bangladesh, after his family came forward via a lawyer. Until now, it had not been possible to identify his body as there had been no comparative DNA sample.

The economic crisis has lead Greeks to turn to dubious dentist ‘professionals’ to save some money, according to the Dental Association of Attica. On occasion of the World Day for Mouth hygiene on March 20, the association noted that an increasing number of Greeks have been forced to choose quasi-professional ‘dentists’ who do not have licenses because of their cheap rates.
Man who threw acid at three-year-old nephew attacked in Istanbul jail
A man who was arrested after carrying out an acid attack on his three-year-old nephew in the playground of an Istanbul restaurant has been attacked in his jail cell by other inmates.
The 33-year-old marketing executive, identified only by the initials C.A., was arrested on Oct. 23 after confessing that he threw acid over the son of his sister-in-law, reportedly out of "jealousy."
