Ex-king to be buried as a private citizen in Athens
Greece's former King Constantine II, who died on Tuesday night aged 82, will be buried privately at a former royal estate north of Athens, the Greek government said on Wednesday.
Deposed by military rulers and spurned by his subjects who voted to ditch the monarchy in 1974, Constantine II was the only son of King Paul and Queen Frederica of Greece.
Azerbaijan Confirmed the Supply of 12 Billion cubic meters of Gas to the EU in 2023
Azerbaijan has confirmed the supply of 12 billion cubic meters of gas to the EU in 2023, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
The country will export a total of 24 billion cubic meters of gas in 2023, half of which will go to Europe, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said on state television.
So far, 8.1 billion cubic meters have been delivered annually.

Erdoğan condemns violence against Brazil's Lula
Türkiye condemns the violence against Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Jan. 9.
"I would like to express our sadness and concern over the recent incident in Brazil. We condemn the violence against Lula, who legitimately assumed the presidency in the elections held in Brazil," Erdoğan said after a cabinet meeting.

Türkiye condemns violence against Lula gov’t in Brazil
Türkiye on Jan. 9 condemned acts of violence against the government led by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the congress and the Constitutional Court in Brazil.
"It is important to respect the results of elections and the democratic processes that reflect the will of the people in the country," said a written statement by the Foreign ministry.
Zuroff: Honours for Deva an insult to memory of his victims
JERUSALEM - The director of Jerusalem-based Simon Wiesenthal Centre, Efraim Zuroff, says the Centre consistently opposes a renovation of the Kosovska Mitrovica house of WWII Nazi collaborationist Xhafer Deva.
In a statement to Tanjug, Zuroff said honours for Deva sent a horrible message to the Kosovo society and were a terrible insult to the memory of his numerous victims.
