Gunmen Kill at Least 30 People in Attack at Pakistani University
At least 30 people have been killed and more than 19 were injured after gunmen attacked Bacha Khan University campus in Charsadda, north-west Pakistan, international newswires reported on Wednesday.
Four suspected attackers were also killed in a shootout with security forces which lasted nearly three hours.

A group of militants stormed a university in volatile northwestern Pakistan on Jan. 20 and killed at least eight people, officials said, with firing inside the campus still going on and two explosions heard.

Heavy gunfire and blasts were heard from inside the Bacha Khan university as gunmen tried to storm their way into the building, while according to reports at least three people are wounded.
The attack was carried out in Charsadda, about 50 km from the city of Peshawar, where in 2014 Talibans had murdered more than 130 students at a school.

Suicide blast kills at least nine in northwest Pakistan: Officials
At least nine people were killed and 35 injured Jan. 19 in a suicide bomb attack on a market during morning rush hour on the outskirts of Pakistan's northwestern city of Peshawar, officials said.
The bomb exploded alongside a road jammed with traffic in the Wazir Dhand district just outside city limits.
Pakistan lifts ban on YouTube after launch of own version
Pakistan said on Jan. 18 that it had removed a three-year ban on YouTube after the Google-owned video-sharing website launched a local version that allows the government to remove material it considers offensive.

Five young Pakistani comedians vowed solidarity with France in the video, “To Paris from Pakistan”. The young comedians did not apologize for the actions of ” few deranged individuals who somehow claim to be like us.
The video went viral, causing Pakistani director Syed Muzamil Hasan Zaidi, aged 25, to feel humbled.
