Gov't to increase from 2pct to 3.5pct share of individual income that can be allocated to NGOs
The Government will approve under an emergency ordinance a number of tax changes, including an increase from 2 percent to 3.5 percent of the share of the personal income tax that may be allotted to non-governmental organisations and religious denominations, providers of social services accredited with at least a licensed social service, Prime Minister Viorica Dancila said on Thursday.
New Serbian government holds first session
BELGRADE - At its first session, the new Serbian government made a decision on Friday to appoint Novak Nedic as its secretary-general.
It adopted conclusions whereby bills and other acts tabled to the Serbian parliament prior to the election of the new government are withdrawn from parliamentary procedure, the government press office said in a statement.

Serbian parliament speaker extends condolences to India
Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic Monday sent a message of condolences to Sumitra Mahajan, the speaker of the the lower house of the Indian parliament.
Her message was also addressed to Mohammad Hamid Ansari, the chairperson of the Rajya Sabha, the Council of States, over the loss of life caused by the heat wave that has hit India.
