Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Nov. 15 arrived in Iran for talks with his counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Nov. 14 that Çavuşoğlu would visit Iran at the invitation of his counterpart.

Turkey's foreign minister met with his Spanish counterpart in Geneva on Nov. 8.

Top Turkish diplomat Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met on Sept. 17 with U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres as the international body prepares to host leaders from across the world next week.

Çavuşoğlu said his meeting with the U.N. chief focused on a number of regional and international issues, including Cyprus, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and climate change.

Turkey's foreign minister on Sept. 13 separately met with the recently appointed high representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the Serbian president of the National Assembly.

In a Twitter post, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said: "Pleased to host Christian Schmidt, recently appointed High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina."

Foreign policy should be determined in line with global developments, analyzing power balance, political and military power and the economy - to which Ankara set its goals accordingly, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Sept. 10. 

Turkey's foreign minister on Aug. 31 announced that his country is working with Serbia on passport-free travel for citizens of both countries.

The conditions in Afghanistan have changed after the Taliban's takeover of the rule and Turkey's priority is to complete the evacuations, the Turkish foreign minister has said, informing that Ankara will wait for the results of the inter-Afgan negotiations to decide about its future role regarding the Kabul international airport.
