Student electrocuted after handling school’s security lighting
A 17-year-old pupil was electrocuted on Wednesday after he came into contact with a light fixture located in the staircase of his school in Patras, western Greece.
After the incident, the student was examined at a local hospital and on Thursday he returned to school.
Woman’s critical health condition prompts emergency response to meningitis
A 42-year-old woman in the municipality of Ilida in western Greece is in critical condition after testing positive for meningitis.
Initially admitted to Pyrgos Hospital, doctors deemed her condition serious, prompting her transfer to the University Hospital of Patras on Wednesday.
Baby found dead in Patras house
Α baby was found dead in a house in Patras, a city in western Greece, on Wednesday.
Authorities said police was called at Evristheos Street where the infant was found. No more information was immediately available.
