Serbian patriarch visits Visoki Decani monastery in Kosovo-Metohija
DECANI - On the third day of his trip to Kosovo-Metohija, Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church visited the Visoki Decani monastery and said peace was a spiritual category and that Kosovo was to be defended, above all, by doing good deeds.
Serbian Patriarch Porfirije begins visit to Kosovo-Metohija
MERDARE - Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Wednesday began a visit to Kosovo-Metohija, where he will celebrate Christmas with Serbs living in the province.
Accompanied by a delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the patriarch will first visit the Patriarchate of Pec and then also Visoki Decani, Gracanica and other monasteries.
Patriarch: Prayer for peace more powerful than any weapon
BELGRADE - In his Easter message, Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church called on all believers to multiply their prayers for peace and for keeping Kosovo-Metohija a part of Serbia, and noted that "an indirect or direct, a de facto or de iure alienation of the province from the state of Serbia is unacceptable."

During the ceremony where he is to be enthroned, Patriarch Porfirije serves a liturgy with several bishops.
Just to reiterate, the Pristina authorities previously forbade the director of the Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, to attend the enthronement.
