The Hellenic American Union is hosting "Stuff+" a group show running from May 19 to June 18. Curated by Louisa Karapidaki, the exhibition brings together Greek and foreign artists whose creative efforts aim to redefine traces of everyday wear and transform the images of accumulated erosion into art.

Thessaloniki organizes Christmas village with food donation as entry fee

A Christmas event will take place on December 19 and 20 at Meteora neighborhood in Thessaloniki sponsored by Municipality of Pavlos Melas.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a complete Christmas spectacle without any cost except for donating dry and canned foods to the basket of social solidarity.

Greek Deputy Minister for Social Security sues prosecutors

Greek Deputy Minister for Social Security Pavlos Haikalis has filed a law suit at the Supreme Court of Greece against the two prosecutors who archived his the case in December 2014. The case involved his alleged bribery in order to influence the outcome of the election of the President of the Hellenic Republic.

Prince Philip’s royal smirk at the fleet review

Prince Philip “of Greece”, aged 93, smirked as he watched the flotilla of more than 180 yachts process along the Solent at the fleet review at Crowne. Accompanying him was his daughter Princess Anne, 64 and Albert II of Monaco, 57. Other royals present were Crown Prince Pavlos “of Greece”, aged 48, and his wife Marie-Chantal, aged 46.
