Today, Facebook is expected to present its cryptocurrency. It is reported that the virtual currency will be convertible into dollars and euros.

Assailants use dynamite to blow up ATM in Athens suburb
Unidentified assailants targeted a bank ATM in the Athens suburb of Aghios Dimitrios in the early hours of Monday, damaging the machine but causing no injuries.
According to the police, the assailants used dynamite to cause the explosion at the ATM at 4 a.m.

Using another bank’s ATM to cost 2-3 euros from July 20
Greek holders of debit cards making withdrawals from cash machines of other banks will as of July 20 be charged a commission that will range from 2 to 3 euros per transaction.
This will bring these charges into line with those imposed since last summer on foreign bank clients using Greek cash machines.

Vandals smash windows of Thessaloniki bank branch
A group of unknown individuals smashed the glass front of a bank branch in central Thessaloniki late Thursday night.
The incident at National Bank occurred shortly before midnight at the corner of Vasilisis Olgas avenue and Zaharia Papantoniou Street.
The attackers were not able to damage the ATMs as they were protected behind the steel shutters.

Four ATMs damaged overnight
Four automated teller machines (ATM) were damaged in Athens overnight, police said Monday.
Shortly after 2 a.m., vandals tried to burn an ATM in Petralona, while another three machines were smashed later in the night in the district of Dafni.

PoS to be installed in cabs
Taxi drivers will be able to install points of sale (PoS) devices in their vehicles with the introduction of new legislation that will also bring changes to popular taxi-hailing apps like Beat.
With the installation of PoS devices customers will be able to pay for their taxi fare with a debit or credit card.
