Bulgaria: An ATM was Stolen in Sofia’s “Lyulin” district

An ATM was stolen last night in the capital's Lyulin district, Nova TV reports. The payment device was pulled out and taken in an unknown direction around 5 a.m. The ATM was located in a 24-hour grocery store. There is no information yet on how much cash was in it. The perpetrators are currently being sought by the police

Bank Fees in Bulgaria Continue to Rise

From Today the New Cards and Tickets for Public Transport in Sofia come into force

From Thursday (September 1), the new cards and tickets for Sofia's public transport, which were adopted earlier in the year by the Sofia Municipal Council, come into force, the Sofia Municipality reports and specifies that they will be available from today at the ticket offices of the Center for Urban Mobility (CGM).

Card payments soar 109 percent in July

Payments with credit, prepaid and debit cards increased by 109 percent in July on an annual basis to amount to 316.9 billion Turkish Liras, according to data from the Interbank Card Center (BKM).

Payments with credit cards increased 103 percent to 249 billion liras, while debit cards made up 62.3 billion liras of the total sum, rising 132 percent from a year ago.
