Around EUR 27 million donated through government account

BELGRADE - Around EUR 27 million have been deposited to the government account meant donations for the victims of the recent floods in Serbia, the Ministry of Finance announced on Wednesday.

According to information on the ministry's website, a total of RSD 3.11 billion were deposited on the account by June 17.

Government's flood relief accounts receive RSD 3.1 bln

BELGRADE - A total of RSD 3.1 billion have so far been raised for flood victims, the ministry of finance has announced.

More precisely, a total of RSD 1.62 billion have been donated to the dinar account, and around EUR 3.27 million, USD 11.04 million, CHF 134,556, GBP 876.07 and RUB 7.9 million to the forex account.

More than EUR 2 million on Finance Ministry's accounts

BELGRADE - More than EUR 2 million and RSD 1 billion have been paid so far into the special accounts set up by the Serbian Ministry of Finance to collect donations for the flood affected areas.

According to the data available at 5 p.m. Monday, the foreign currency a ccount totaled EUR 1,702,522; USD 261,122; CHF 14,960; RUB 1 million, and smaller amounts in other foreign currencies.

Serbian Govt Urged to Disclose Flood Relief Donations

More than 967 billion dinars (about 8.5 million euros), almost 872,000 euros and $184,000 are currently in the government bank account for donations to help victims of the floods that hit the country 10 days ago, according to Finance Ministry data on Monday.

A further 481,000 euros has been collected via a PayPal account.
