HDP to merge with Green Left Party soon
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), currently facing a closure case over alleged ties to the PKK terror organization, has decided to join forces with the Greens and Left Future Party (YSP).
During the May elections, the HDP nominated its parliamentary candidates on the YSP lists, garnering nearly 5 million votes.

HDP submits defense over closure case
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) has submitted its defense to the Constitutional Court over the ongoing closure case, stressing this move was political rather than legal and seeking the exclusion of the HDP from the political environment.

Top court gives another 30 days to HDP for defense
Turkey's top court has given another 30 days to the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) for defense as they face a case for their closure.

HDP MP returns to parliament after verdict on rights violation
Former Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) deputy Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu has returned to the Turkish Parliament following a Constitutional Court verdict which said his rights were violated when convicted and stripped of his immunity.

"We are right, we are strong and we will win. We have won with resistance." Gergerlioglu said defiantly at a press conference held at the HDP headquarters in Ankara on Tuesday night.
MHP leader criticizes Constitutional Court’s decision on ex-HDP MP
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli has criticized a Constitutional Court decision ruling that the rights of former Peoples' Democratic Party's (HDP) Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu have been violated.
"How is terrorist propaganda considered a violation of rights?" the MHP leader said on July 6, addressing his lawmakers in parliament.
