The only contemporary dance festival in Greece for children and teens, Moving Colors aims to bring young audiences into contact with the fascinating world of contemporary dance and movement through innovative performances that fuel their imagination and emotion, as well as to enrich their experience in the art of dance.

The 25th International Istanbul Puppet Festival, which aims to introduce the art of puppet, meets puppet lovers in Istanbul's Fişekhane.

The event opened on Oct. 27 and will continue through Nov. 4 with performances by international puppeteers at Fişekhane Black Box Stage for both adult and child audiences.

The 14th International Istanbul Opera Festival opens today at Atatürk Cultural Center's (AKM) Türk Telekom Opera Hall and Theater Stage and will take place through June 22.

The General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet (DOB) will present world-famous opera and ballet works at international festivals in the summer, starting in Istanbul on June 10 and ending in Antalya on Sept. 21.

Working with the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Canadian Opera Company and the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Greek National Opera (nationalopera.gr) is presenting a grand production of Luigi Cherubini's "Medee" on April 25, 27 and 30, and May 2, 4 and 9 at the Stavros Niarchos Hall (snfcc.org).
