The 29th International Festival of Masquerade Games "Surva" begins in Pernik. It is held under the patronage of President Rumen Radev and with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the National Culture Fund. The "Surva" festival is the oldest festival of masquerade games in Bulgaria and one of the largest in Europe.

The crashed bus tore about 50 meters of guardrail in the area of ​​the accident. This was said by the mayor of Pernik Stanislav Vladimirov to journalists on the occasion of the severe bus accident in which 46 people died, a reporter told FOCUS News Agency.

A fire blazed over the market in the center of Pernik in minutes last evening. No one was injured, but there was material damage.

According to the mayor of Pernik Stanislav Vladimirov, about 7-8 stalls burned down.

"Pernik municipality will try to help the affected traders as far as the law allows," Vladimirov told.

A cash collection car which was transporting the turnover of a restaurant near the Struma highway was robbed.

 According to information from BTV and Nova TV, the stolen amount is about BGN 500,000.

The car was transporting the money from a fast food restaurant. The robbers were in two cars, which probably  had stolen license plates.
