BDZ provides 4000 additional seats in the trains between Sofia and Pernik for the Surva Festival.

Pernik hosts the Sourva International Masquerade Festival, which started yesterday and will continue until Sunday.

The festival has been organized since 1966, and since 1985 it has been international.

Today in Pernik there will be a liturgy in memory of those who died in the car crash near the village of Mikre, reported BGNES.

The church ritual will begin at 9.00 am in the central church of St. Ivan Rilski.

9 people from the town of Pernik were killed in the accident on Friday.

November 20th was declared a day of mourning in Pernik Municipality.

The municipality will organize the transport of the victims of the severe catastrophe near Lovech and will provide funeral services. The families of the victims will be supported with a one-time financial aid amounting BGN 325. This was announced by the press office of the Municipality of Pernik .

Six people died, while 18 were injured in a crash between a minibus and a truck in the area of Mikre village, the regional police department announced, quoted by bTV.

The incident happened minutes before 13 pm today on the Sofia-Varna road.

According to preliminary data, it was a head-on collision between a minibus  with a Pernik registration  and a truck.
