Iran minister rejects Trump's condolences for attacks as "repugnant"

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has rejected Donald Trump's condolences for deadly attacks in Tehran, calling the U.S. president's words repugnant.

Trump had said he prayed for the victims of attacks on June 7 that were claimed by Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), but added that "states that sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote."

Court arrests key ISIL militant 'Abu Hanzala' in Turkey's northwest

A key Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militant was arrested in the northwestern province of Sakarya on June 7. 

"Abu Hanzala," code-named Halis Bayancuk, was arrested over "attempting to remove the constitutional order" and "being a member of the ISIL armed terrorist group."

Islamic State claims responsibility for London Bridge attack

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the London Bridge terrorist attack, issuing a statement through its propaganda news service on Sunday night.

Islamic State's propaganda news service Amaq claimed its militants were responsible for killing seven people and injuring 48 in central London on Saturday, Rita Katz, Director of SITE Intelligence Group, said on her Twitter page.
