Moscow Central Mosque to reopen on eve of Eid

Moscow's Central Mosque will reopen on the eve of Eid al-Adha, also called the Feast of Sacrifice, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an among the guests attending the event, Anadolu Agency has reported. 

The ceremony will also be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and other world leaders, the agency said. 

Kiev timed attacks ahead of upcoming EU summit - Kremlin

A new wave of war in eastern Ukraine has been provoked by Ukrainian security forces ahead of the upcoming EU summit, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

According to Peskov, Kiev has breached the Minsk agreement, while Moscow expects the OSCE, which has an observer mission in the war zone, to soon react.

The Russian president’s press spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, denied on Saturday a report by German magazine Der Spiegel suggesting that Russia has made a deal with Greece to offer the Mediterranean country an advance of 3-5 billion euros from the anticipated profits of the Greek natural gas pipeline.

Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said talks between the Russian President and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras were "very positive."

"The talks were very positive, many levels of cooperation were formed, everything was agreed and there are common plans to be implemented," said Peskov.
