Russia wants to keep good ties with Turkey, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Oct. 8, after Ankara voiced its growing anger at Moscow's military intervention in Syria. 

Russia hopes for a dialogue with the United States on resolving crises and notes the readiness of the two governments to jointly seek a settlement in Syria, Russian president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov has said.

Moscow's Central Mosque will reopen on the eve of Eid al-Adha, also called the Feast of Sacrifice, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an among the guests attending the event, Anadolu Agency has reported. 

The ceremony will also be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and other world leaders, the agency said.

The Kremlin on Wednesday denied media allegations that the Russian military was taking part in aistrikes against Islamic State targets in Syria.

The Russian President's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists late on Thursday that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will visit Moscow on two dates: April 8 and May 9. Peskov said that the visit comes following an invitation that Russia sent to the Greek leader.
