Kiril Petkov, co-chair of "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB), backed the "Denkov-Gabriel" cabinet, emphasizing Bulgaria's defense strategy focusing on modernizing the army with 21st-century technologies.

"We should also thank the other right-wing voters, outside our coalition."

This was said by the co-chairman of "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) Kiril Petkov. He admitted that the support of GERB leader Boyko Borissov also played a role, although according to sociologists, most of the party's voters supported Vanya Grigorova, the candidate of the left.

In a surprising turn of events, Anton Hekimyan, GERB's mayoral candidate for Sofia, suggests his support for Vasil Terziev from "United for Sofia" in the upcoming runoff election. Hekimyan, who secured third place in the first round, expressed his intention to cast a reasoned vote despite the absence of a right-wing candidate in the race.

The businessman Vasil Bozhkov announced on his Facebook profile that he is returning to Bulgaria this afternoon. Since January 2020, he has been in Dubai, and several investigations are being conducted against him in absentia and he has been declared an internationally wanted man.

The subject of a possible change of the Bulgarian national holiday from March 3 to May 24 became an occasion for comments on the sidelines and declarations in the plenary hall.

The co-chairman of "We Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov announced that together with their coalition partner "Democratic Bulgaria" they decided to confirm the declaration of the "Denkov-Gabriel" cabinet, however, they set seven conditions in order for their joint rule with GERB to continue.

"Nobody doubts that there will be no rotation, right?" This was stated by GERB leader Boyko Borissov on the sidelines of parliament regarding the disagreements with the WCC-DB. According to him, they are doing everything "which is on the record" - changing personnel in ministries, agencies, regulators and "appointing their own people everywhere".

"GERB puts the government and the work of the parliament at risk by relying on floating majorities with which they push their decisions", the deputy from "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" Kiril Petkov warned today in the parliament. He refers to the failed two hearings of the Minister of Justice Atanas Slavov yesterday - in the plenary hall and before the legal committee.

GERB-SDS will accept experts from the Movement of Rights and Freedoms (DPS) and "There Is Such a People" (TISP) for a government, after the two formations have expressed support for an expert cabinet. This was announced on Nova TV by MP Temenuzka Petkova who confirmed that there are currently talks about its composition.

"Until next Tuesday, any names you hear are just rumors". Thus, the co-chairman of "We Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov commented on the sidelines of the parliament about the names of ministers in the future cabinet that appeared in the public space.
