The Bulgaria national football team has achieved a historic victory over its on of its biggest rivals in the last 25 years - Sweden. The Lions struck three times the Scandinavians in World Cup qualification for World Cup 2018 in Russia, winning 3:2, recording one of the sweetest victories for this century.

Cars and buses will only be allowed in the Borisov garden if they are related to sporting events at the stadiums "Vasil Levski" and "Bulgarian Army" and upon request by the sports clubs or the Bulgarian Football Union. This was announced by Sofia Municipality, Dnevnik reported.

The Bulgarian citizens that were detained yesterday in the incident between supporters of FC Levski (Sofia) and FC "Hajduk" (Split) in the Croatian city of Zadar got released in the early hours of the day.

Clashes between supporters of Bulgarian football team Levski and Croatia's Hajduk erupted in the Croatian coastal city of Zadar on Wednesday night, the Bulgarian foreign ministry confirmed on Thursday.

There were clashes between Bulgarian and Croatian fans in the city of Zadar in the evening before the first match of the second preliminary round in the Europa League tournament between the local Hajduk Split and the Bulgarian Levski Sofia.

The celebrations in Karlovo city on the anniversary of the birth of the Apostle Vasil Levski will culminate on July 17 and 18, deputy mayor Anton Minev said, quoted by Focus News Agency. 

An award ceremony and a concert are scheduled for the evening of July 17.

Levski's management continues with their shopping spree as the Bulgarian club bought a player with more than 50 goals in England. The Spanish playmaker Jordi Gomez started his career as a youth of Barcelona and also played for Espanyol, Wigan, Swansea, Sunderland and Blackburn.
