Shaolin: The Legend | Athens | March 31 & April 1

A group of Chinese Buddhist monks who helped inaugurate the 2008 Beijing Olympics with their jaw-dropping combination of martial arts, theater and dance, are coming to Athens's Faliro Indoor Arena for two shows on Saturday, March 31, at 4 and 8.30 p.m., and two more on Sunday, April 1, at 12.30 and 5.30 p.m.

Release Festival | Athens | May 31, June 1 & June 17

Jamiroquai, Thievery Corporation, London Grammar, UB40, Rag'n'Bone Man and Parov Stelar are among the headliners on the bill for this year's Release Athens, one of the main events on Greece's music festival calendar. The three-day event will be taking place at Plateia Nerou, a prime location right on the seafront in Faliro, southern Athens, on May 31, June 1 and 17.

Shipping execs to take part in Posidonia Games

Some 2,500 shipping executives are expected to take part in the 2018 Posidonia Games, a series of four sporting events to be held at a variety of venues in Athens ahead of the Posidonia 2018 shipping fair.

Organizers expect some 600 yachtsmen to sail their yachts on June 1 from Faliro Bay for the Posidonia Cup regatta.

Lara Fabian | Athens | May 19

One of the best-selling Belgian artists of all time, with more than 20 million record sales worldwide, lyric soprano Lara Fabian comes to Athens on May 19 for a much-anticipated show at the Faliro Indoor Arena. It is part of the singer's world tour to promote "Camouflage," her latest album, in the English language, and will also include older work.

Kraftwerk | Athens | March 3

A band that has been regarded as the leading pioneer of the electronic music scene since its inception in the late 1960s, Germany's Kraftwerk is coming to Athens for a single show on Saturday, March 3, at the Faliro Indoor Arena on the capital's southern coast.

Shaolin: The Legend | Athens | March 31
