Brnabic: Philip Morris to invest additional 100 mln dollars in Serbia
NIS - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic on Wednesday announced a new 100 mln dollar Philip Morris investment in Serbia that will create 200 jobs in Nis.
Brnabic made the announcement at a ceremony that marked 20 years since the privatisation of the Nis Tobacco Industry, acquired by Philip Morris in 2003.
Philip Morris Makes a Call Center in Bulgaria and Opens 100 Jobs
Philip Morris International, the manufacturer of the iQOS tobacco heating unit, will invest in the creation of a call center in Bulgaria, Christos Harpandis, Managing Director for Southeastern Europe, told Money.bg. The new call center is expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2019. The company has not yet decided whether it will be in Sofia or another city in Bulgaria.
Papastratos banking on exports
Leading tobacco firm Papastratos on Wednesday announced that a planned investment of 25 million euros in the transformation of the companys factory into an exporting center is in the works.
