Tsitsipas through to third round after Kohlschreiber withdraws
Sixth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas has advanced to the third round of the Australian Open after his German opponent Philipp Kohlschreiber withdrew due to injury, organizers said on Wednesday.
ATP Finals champion Tsitsipas, 21, will meet either Canadian 32nd seed Milos Raonic or Cristian Garin of Chile in the third round, having never faced either opponent before.
Grigor Dimitrov Reached the Quarter-finals in Monte Carlo
Grigor Dimitrov qualified for the 1/4-finals of the Masters series in Monte Carlo (€ 4.87 million). In the third round of the Clay race, the Bulgarian overcame Philipp Kohlschreiber (Ger) with 4:6, 6:3, 6:4 after nearly two and a half hours of Cort de Paris.
Dimitrov's rival on the 1/4-finals will be his pairing partner David Goffin.
Kohlschreiber beats Lajovic in Kitzbuhel
KITZBUHEL - Serbia's Dusan Lajovic is out of the Kitzbuhel ATP World Tour 250 series tennis tournament after losing 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) to German Philipp Kohlschreiber in a dramatic quarter-final.
Kohlschreiber, who won after two and a half hours of play, is now 2-0 head-to-head against the Serbian.

Djokovic eases to routine victory against Kohlschreiber
PARIS - Novak Djokovic, the world number one in men's tennis, is through to the third round of the Paris Masters tournament after beating Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-3, 6-4 late Tuesday.
Djokovic beats Kohlschreiber to reach Rome quarter-finals
ROME - Serbia's highest-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic reached the quarter-finals of the Rome Masters tournament by beating Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 late Thursday.
In an unusual match - their fourth so far - Djokovic came from behind to beat the current world number 29.
Djokovic outplays Stepanek
ROME - Serbia's top tennis player Novak Djokovic began his campaign at the Masters Tournament in Rome beating Czech Radek Stepanek 6-3, 7-5 in 97 minutes in the second round on Tuesday.
Djokovic's next opponent will be the winner of the match between Spaniard Tommy Robredo and German Philipp Kohlschreiber.
