No Visa Fees For Bulgarians in Thailand Until the End of April
The Thai government extended the temporary visa fees to the country by the end of April 2019. The new deadline applies to tourists from 20 countries, including Bulgaria.
Smoking on the Beach in Thailand is Now Fined with USD 3000
Smokers who violate the smoking ban on 20 of Thailand's most popular tourist beaches will be fined USD 3,000 or will be imprisoned for up to one year, reports bgnes.
The ban, which comes into force in November, follows the cleaning of nearly 140,000 cigarette buds from an area of 2.5 kilometers from the famous Patong Beach on Phuket Island.
Turkish Airlines to start direct Istanbul-Phuket flights
Turkish Airlines will in the summer start flights to the Thai island of Phuket, a world leading tourist spot, the company's manager in Thailand said on May 23.
The company's executive in Thailand, Abdullah Ahmet Tuğcu, told journalists that the first flight to Phuket from Istanbul will be on July 17.
