Said 19-year-old Zara Rutherford, who embarked on an impressive adventure on Wednesday afternoon. The teenager flew from an airport in western Belgium for her solo trip around the world. It aims to cross 52 countries on five continents in the next two months or so.

Code Orange heat warning in five western, southwestern counties, Code Yellow in almost all country

The National Weather Administration (ANM)has issued a Code Orange warning of heat and high thermal discomfort in force on Monday in the counties of Arad, Timis, Caras-Severin, Mehedinti and Dolj, where highs are expected to get to 41 degrees Celsius. Also, all throughout today, a Code Yellow of similar phenomena will be in force in almost all of Romania.

Nuclearelectrica registers rise in net profit by 12.3%, to 385.4 million RON, in H1

The National Company Nuclearelectrica (SNN) registered, during the first half of this year, a net profit of 385.393 million RON, rising by 12.3%, in comparison with the similar period of 2020, according to the company's financial results, published on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

Turkish physicist, team actively take part in major Fermilab experiments

A Turkish physicist and his team is actively taking part in international experiments at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), a U.S.-based laboratory specializing in high-energy particle physics, he told Anadolu Agency on on Aug. 11.
