Two suspects arrested for holdup at drug warehouse
Police have arrested two 42-year-old men in connection with an armed robbery at a medicine warehouse in Athens last month.
The suspects are accused of threatening a security guard at gunpoint at the facility in Rendi, south of central Athens, which belongs to national healthcare provider EOPYY, and making off with around 1.3 million euros' worth of drugs.

Transport services to be disrupted as workers protest austerity
Rolling strikes by public transport workers over cutbacks are to cause disruption over the coming days with no services on Friday on the Athens metro and tram before 10 a.m. and no service on the electric railway (ISAP) between noon and 4 p.m.

Huge security operation under way for Obama visit to Athens
The Greek Police have banned demonstrations in Athens on Tuesday and Wednesday as part of security preparations for a visit to the Greek capital by outgoing US President Barack Obama.
Some 5,000 Greek police officers are to be on duty in the capital along with 500 American agents.
Hospital workers walk out in Athens and Piraeus
Hospital workers in Athens and Piraeus were to walk off the job on Monday, staging a four-hour work stoppage from 11 a.m., in protest at staff shortages and cutbacks.
Protesters were to rally outside the Health Ministry at 12.30 pm., demanding hirings and job security.

Municipalities given till year 4144 to pay off debt
Consultancy professional Andreas Drymiotis made quite a revelation in an article published in Sunday's Kathimerini: According to a decision by three ministers in April 2015, the repayment of the debts three Attica municipal authorities owe to the state and the social security funds - totaling 535 million euros - was extended up to another 2,129 years (i.e. over 21 centuries from today).
