A baby admitted with jaundice in the Bulgarian city of Blagoevgrad was returned to its family with a splint on one leg. Relatives of the infant, who is only 22 days old, reported the case.

The Sofia-based Pirogov Hospital for emergency treatment must return to the National Health Insurance Fund nearly 1 million and 37 thousand BGN /530 thousand euros/ due to violations established during an inspection in the medical institution for the period May 28-July 10, the press center of the Fund announced.

A man is at risk for his life after he was attacked and stabbed with a knife the night before Tuesday in front of a block of flats in the Lyulin 7 quarter of Sofia, mediapool reported. Police and ambulance teams were sent to the site. The injured person was taken to Pirogov Hospital in a severe condition. The reasons for the attack are unknown.
