From Monday, March 8, the scheduled admissions in all hospitals in Sofia will be suspended, an Order issued on March 5 by the head of Sofia Regional Health Inspectorate, Dancho Penchev, says.

The Deputy Director of the Regional Police Directorate in Pazardzhik, Commissioner Svetoslav Telbizov, has died as a result of coronavirus infection. This was announced by RHI, quoted by BGNES.

36 are the new proven cases of COVID-19 in our country, said Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev. Of these, 15 are in hospital. The total number of infected is already 2211 people. The increase from yesterday is 1.5%.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria has risen to 313. There are 37 new cases in the past 24 hours, the head of the national task force, Major-General, Prof. Ventsislav Mutafchiyski told the daily morning briefing on March 28.

A fourth person has died in Pirogov hospital in Sofia, the fifth in Blagoevrgrad.
