Romanian Refinery to Process Iranian Oil

A first cargo of around a million barrels of crude oil is to arrive this week at the Romanian port of Constanta, marking the return of Iran to the European market after years of international sanctions against Tehran. 

A further three million barrels are expected to be shipped to Spain and other European ports for France's Total Oil, according to media reports. 

DNA conducts searches at Ploiesti City Hall headquarters, in FC Petrolul financing case

National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA) prosecutors on Tuesday morning are conducting searches at the headquarters of the Ploiesti City Hall, in a case having to do with funds allotted from the local budget to the FC Petrolul football club, related to which investigations were launched in rem for abuse of office one year ago.
