State broadcaster refuses to air Golden Dawn leader's speech
Workers at Greek state broadcaster ERT will be walking off the job on Friday evening in a strike scheduled to coincide with a pre-election speech by far-right Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos.
In an announcement earlier in the day, their union, POSPERT, said that the broadcaster would be showing reruns between 7 and 9 p.m. in protest at the party's "Nazi sermons of hate."
Defendant collapses in Golden Dawn trial
The ongoing trial of neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party was interrupted on Thursday morning after a defendant collapsed in the court room and was taken to hospital.
Giorgos Patelis was in the stand when he fainted. Court officers called an ambulance while he was offered first aid.

Terror group accomplice breaches release terms
Greek police on Friday were seeking a 27-year-old associate of Panagiota Roupa, a leading member of the Revolutionary Struggle guerrilla group, after she violated the terms of her conditional release, failing to report to her local police station.
Constantina Athanasopoulou had been arrested in January 2017 as an associate of Roupa, herself then a fugitive.

Golden Dawn defendants skip trial, prompting judge's ire
The absence of 11 of the 18 defendants who are scheduled to testify in connection with the September 2013 murder of Pavlos Fyssas in the ongoing trial against the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party prompted the ire of the bench's president on Friday. "The defendants have an obligation to be here. The court has ways of bringing them in," judge Maria Lepeniotou warned.
