A delegation comprising representatives from the "Vazrazhdane" and "ABV" parties has sparked controversy by visiting Russia upon the invitation of Vladimir Putin's ruling party, "United Russia."

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a meeting with the top representatives of the Syrian opposition groups amid Ankara's messages to the Assad regime for a political solution to the decade-old problem in Syria.

The initiative was signed by 38 opposition MPs led by the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
Bei said that the allegations in the proposal for his dismissal were not substantiated.

Katnic was deeply unpopular with the former opposition for his role in securing guilty verdicts for 13 people - including two opposition leaders - accused of plotting to overthrow the previous government in 2016.

Opposition MPs Miladin Sevarlic and Dveri leader Bosko Obradovic began a hunger strike, and two SNS MPs, Aleksandar Martinovic and Sandra Bozic, joined in front of the National Assembly on Sunday.

The prosecution had previously assigned the same measure to another MP of Democratic Front (DF), Milun Zogovic.
DNP leader Milan Knezevic is currently at the hearing, Podgorica based "Vijesti" reported. Mandic and Knezevic were arrested last night on suspicion of committing criminal offense of preventing an official from performing his official duties.

Three pro-Serbian opposition deputies, Andrija Mandic, Milan Knezevic and Milun Zogovic, were brought before prosecutors in Montenegro on Friday to be charged over an incident in the country's parliament before a vote on the new law on religion.

The withdrawal of heavy weapons by the Syrian opposition in the northwestern province of Idlib proves the opposition trusts Turkey, one of its members said on Oct. 9.

Leaders of the strongest opposition alliance in Montenegro, the URA movement and the Democrats [Demokrate] are heading to Brussels next week to present what they call a plan to overcome the long-lasting political crisis in the country.

The leader of URA, Dritan Abazovic, and the Democrats' chief, Aleksa Becic, will meet the EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn, early next week.
