MHP to run for polls with its emblems, candidates: Bahçeli
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli on March 28 said his party will enter the elections with its emblems and candidates but not as part of the joint list of the People's Alliance.
"The MHP will certainly achieve the success it deserves, and longs for, with three crescent emblems and valuable parliamentary candidates in all electoral circles," he tweeted.
MHP leader says Hüda Par has no links to Hizballah

36 parties qualify to run in upcoming elections
The Supreme Election Board (YSK) has determined a total of 36 political parties as eligible to run in Türkiye's upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
After President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on March 10, signed a presidential decree declaring the election date as May 14, YSK convened to determine political parties that could run in the elections.

Parliament begins discussions on headscarf bill
A parliamentary panel has begun deliberations over the headscarf bill amid ongoing disagreements between the government and the opposition parties.
The Turkish parliament's Constitutional Commission completed the first round of the talks late Jan. 19 with the plan to continue deliberations on Jan. 24.

MHP leader calls to hold elections in May
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli on Jan. 17 called for holding the elections in May and said his party was ready for early polls.
"Let's finish this work in May and give the word and decision to the blessed will of our beloved nation," he said addressing the MHP members in parliament.
