Opposition leader warns of dangers of tolerance of violence after Skai TV, Kathimerini bomb attack

Kammenos: President, party leaders could block FYROM name deal

The National Council (CN) meeting of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) convenes on Sunday at the Palace of Parliament, in order to validate the new CN president and elect the chiefs of the specialised departments of the Social-Democrats.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 16:00hrs.

Opposition Protesters Demand 'Fair' Election in Serbia

In the second large protest against Serbian government and President Aleksandar Vucic in one week, thousands of protesters massed on the streets of Belgrade to demand for elections to be free and fair.

The rally comes after President Vucic earlier warned that he would not meet the demands of protesters.

Weber: New Democracy's electoral win will sideline populists

The leader of the centre-right European People's Party in the European Parliament, Manfred Weber, expressed confidence in Conservative leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Saturday, saying an electoral win by New Democracy next year will "sideline populists" and restore Greece's credibility in Europe.
