Kornelia Ninova after the Leadership meeting: Early Elections in Bulgaria are Now Inevitable
"Early elections are inevitable" - this is what BSP leader Kornelia Ninova said after the leadership meeting that took place in parliament. The conversation was between BSP, GERB, DPS and "Bulgarian Rise".
"We Continue the Change", "Democratic Bulgaria" and "Vazrazhdane" did not participate.
Opposition alliance to meet on Jan 26 for talks
The six-party opposition alliance will hold its next meeting on Jan. 26, days after President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signaled May 14 as the potential date for the simultaneous presidential and parliamentary polls.
The Nation Alliance will meet at the İYİ (Good) Party headquarters, where the party chair, Meral Akşener, will host the leaders.

A parliamentary panel has begun deliberations over the headscarf bill amid ongoing disagreements between the government and the opposition parties.
The Turkish parliament's Constitutional Commission completed the first round of the talks late Jan. 19 with the plan to continue deliberations on Jan. 24.

Political Reactions after Die Welt’s article about Bulgaria’s Support for Ukraine
The political parties were sharply criticized because of the information presented by "Die Welt" that Bulgaria sent weapons and fuel to Ukraine under the "Petkov" cabinet.
GERB and "Democratic Bulgaria", which insist that our country help Kyiv, criticized the previous cabinet for hiding the information and using intermediaries.
Erdogan signals May 14 as Turkish elections date
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan indicated in a speech on Wednesday that parliamentary and presidential elections could be held on May 14, after he said the date should be brought forward from June 18.
Speaking to lawmakers of his AK Party in parliament, Erdogan said Turks will show their reaction to the main opposition alliance on the same date that elections were held on 1950.
