PM Dancila to negotiate for gov't to move on, might ask Parliament for confidence

The government will go before Parliament to ask for a vote of confidence, and negotiation remains the best weapon, Prime Minister Viorica Dancila said in Pitesti, Arges County on Thursday, ruling out any negotiations with Pro Romania.   She added that the Social Democratic Party (PSD) does not contemplate abandoning government, which she discussed with most of the PSD leaders.

Merkel tells Mitsotakis that Greece’s fiscal commitments are now easier

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said that Greece's fiscal commitments will now be easier to meet.
Merkel was speaking at a joint news conference in Berlin, where Mitsotakis was on an official visit.

The chancellor said that she discussed bilateral relations as well as the improved economic climate in Greece.

Greek leader wants talks with Germany on war reparations

Greece's newly elected prime minister has said during a visit in Berlin that he hopes Germany will agree to start negotiations on war reparations.
