Damages suits against protesters withdrawn
Ljubljana – The State Attorney’s Office has withdrawn suits against individuals to compensate the Interior Ministry for the costs of policing anti-government protests held in the past two years. This was after the ministry under the new government withdrew its consent for the damages claims last week.

Ukrainian MP Detained in Moldova on Belarus Warrant
The Moldovan Border Police detained lawmaker Yevhen Yakovenko, 57, from Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region on Sunday evening and placed him in pre-trial detention in Chisinau.
Interpol issued an international 'red notice' for Yakovenko's arrest at the request of the Belarusian authorities.
