Serbian Pro-Regime Media Praise Russia ‘Overrunning’ Ukraine

Newspapers that support the Serbian government hailed the Russian invasion of Ukraine on their front pages on Friday, 24 hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his military assault.

Informer and Alo led with front-page headlines claiming that Russia "reached Kyiv in a day", while Objektiv's headline said "Russians overrun Ukraine in a day".

Bulgaria: There will be a Protest in Front of the Russian Embassy Today

The Ukrainian community in Bulgaria is protesting in front of the Russian Embassy in Sofia.

The protest will start at 5 p.m. Bulgarian time

The organizers called for support for the event to the Russians in the country, to the Bulgarians, as well as to "everyone who cares, to everyone who supports Ukraine and to anyone who is against the war."

Struggling Kosovo Telecom Hit by €13 Million Arbitration Ruling

A multi-million-euro bill received by Kosovo Telecom on Tuesday added salt to the wounds of the struggling public company, after it lost another arbitration case.

The London-based International Chamber of Commerce ruled that Kosovo Telecom has to pay 13 million euros to privately-owned claimant, Dardafon, for a contract terminated in July 2019.

Ljubljana – The parliament passed the resolution on the 2022-2029 national culture programme on Tuesday. The coalition expressed its support for the strategic document, which comes after the last of its kind in 2017, while the centre-left opposition was against it, saying it does not offer solutions to address the status quo in this field.

Slovenia condemns Russia’s recognition of rebel-held Ukraine regions

Ljubljana – Slovenia’s officials strongly condemned Russia’s recognition of the separatist regions of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine as independent entities. Prime Minister Janez Janša called for the EU to offer Ukraine the prospect of full membership. Slovenia is also ready to support the country’s membership of the EU.
