President of Cyprus, Akinci agree on confidence-building measures
The President of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiades, and Turkish-Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci agreed at a meeting today to implement confidence-building measures (CBMs) mainly in the sectors of telephony and electricity grids.
The move comes a year-and-a-half after the collapse of Cyprus settlement talks at Crans Montana, Switzerland with a new push to jump-start the talks underway.

UN envoy meets with Cyprus president in Nicosia
United Nations special envoy Jane Holl Lute met in Nicosia on Wednesday with Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and reportedly conveyed a message from UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres urging all parties involved in the Cyprus issue to agree on the terms that will allow the resumption of reunification talks.

Jane Hall Lute to meet Anastasiades, Akinci
UN envoy Jane Hall Lute will hold separate meetings on Wednesday with Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci.
Lute will visit the two leaders by herself, without being accompanied by an aide or any other UN official.
