Turkey neutralized over 200 terrorists in December
Turkey neutralized more than 200 terrorists during anti-terror operations at home and abroad in December, Deputy Interior Minister Ismail Çataklı said on Jan. 3.
Turkish security forces neutralized 144 YPG/PKK terrorists, including one on the orange list and three on the grey list, during Operation Kıran in the country's southeast, said Çataklı.

Erdogan: 250,000 Syrian Migrants are Moving to the Border with Turkey
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said today that up to 250,000 migrants are fleeing the northwestern Syrian region of Idlib to Turkey, adding that Ankara is trying to prevent them from crossing the border, BTA quoted Reuters as saying.

"In such a case, Turkey will not bear all alone the burden of this migration," Erdoğan said, speaking at an event in Dolmabahçe0 Palace in Istanbul.
PKK/YPG attack in N Syria kills 1, wounds 26 civilians
At least one civilian was killed and 26 injured in a car bomb attack in northern Syria on Dec. 18, according to Turkey's National Defense Ministry.
"Another crime has been added to the list of inhumane terror attacks carried out by PKK/YPG terrorists who know no limits when it comes to evil," the ministry said on Twitter.
US sends experts to raise oil output in southeast Syria
The U.S. has sent a group of experts to Syria's biggest oil field in Deir ez-Zor province currently under the occupation of the YPG/PKK terror group, in hopes of increasing production.
Egyptian and Saudi experts, who were tasked by the U.S. with enhancing oil production at al-Omar oil field, arrived in the region on Dec. 13, according to local sources.
Turkey dismisses Macron's Syria criticism
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuoğlu has dismissed French President Emmanuel Macron's critique of Turkey's cross-border operation in Syria against YPG, the Syrian branch of the PKK, saying the French leader "sponsors terrorism."
