BRUSSELS - EU spokesperson Peter Stano said on Thursday that no progress on the EU-faciliated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina also meant no progress on the EU accession process.

The statement is related to the decision of the Board of the Central Bank of Kosovo on the adoption of the Regulation on cash operations according to which the only currency that can be used in the so-called Kosovo for cash and e-transactions is the euro. The decision enters into force on February 1.

"The removal of this regime is an act of good neighborly relations and comes after full recognition of the plates of the Republic of Kosovo by Serbia," it is stated in the press release of the so-called Kosovo Government.
The decision enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
