Montenegro: Parliament Approves New Pro-NATO Government
BELGRADE - Montenegrin lawmakers have approved a new pro-NATO government led by Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, a former head of intelligence and a close ally of longtime leader Milo Djukanovic.
The vote on November 28 came as Markovic pledged that his government would complete, by the end of 2017, the years-long process of Montenegro's integration into NATO.

Montenegro Opposition Slam Coup Plotter's 'Witness' Status in Court
In a statement released Thursday Montenegro's opposition — made up of a coalition of parties — slammed the court's decision and said that proved that the alleged "coup" was staged by the authorities to ensure Djukanovic's Democratic Party of Socialists, DPS, won the October 16 general election.

The Bosniak Party (BS) in Montenegro has accepted an offer of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) to form a government together.
Montenegro's state broadcaster RTCG is reporting this on Thursday.

The agreement is expected to be officially confirmed on Wednesday after the Bosniak Party emerged as a kingmaker following the election on October 16 and won three seats in Montenegro's 81-seat parliament.

Montenegro: Close Djukanovic Ally Named As New Prime Minister

BELGRADE - Montenegro's president has named a former head of intelligence as the prime minister-designate who will try to form a new government.
Dusko Markovic is also the deputy leader of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists and one of the most trusted allies of Milo Djukanovic, the outgoing prime minister and longtime leader of the party.
"Russians, Serbians, and Montenegrins planned attack"
The organizers of an attempted terrorist attack in Montenegro on election day, October 16 included "two nationalists from Russia."
The goal of the operation was "to topple the current Montenegrin authorities, liquidate PM Milo Djukanovic and prevent Montenegro from joining NATO."
Veteran Montenegro PM Milo Djukanovic 'Will Quit'
Djukanovic is set to end 27 years as Montenegro's top politician after his Democratic Party of Socialists nominated his long-standing protégé, Dusko Markovic, as his potential successor on Tuesday evening, according to a statement from the party leadership.
