Election Hostilities Shake Serbia and Hungary
Elections in Hungary and Serbia stimulate tensions
National elections were held on April 3 in both Hungary and Serbia. In Serbia, the parliamentary election coincided with presidential and local elections in 12 municipalities, including the capital, Belgrade.

RIK: 100 percent to be processed soon; Convincing lead of Vučić and SNS
The list "Aleksandar Vui - Together we can do everything" has won the most votes - 42.91 percent of votes, i.e. 120 parliamentary mandates.
The coalition "United for the Victory of Serbia" with 13.69 percent of votes or 38 seats is second, and the third list is "Ivica Dacic - Prime Minister of Serbia", which won 11.43 percent of votes or 32 seats.
Vladeta Janković: It is not over yet in Belgrade
Vladeta Jankovic, who was the candidate for mayor in the Belgrade elections in front of the United for the Victory of Serbia coalition, assessed that the opposition "very seriously" threatened the power of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in the capital.

RIK released preliminary election results: It's known how Serbia voted
RIK President, Vladimir Dimitrijevi, addressed the citizens and stated that the election day was successfully conducted.
According to RIK data, a total of 6.268.496 million Serbian nationals are eligible to vote. It said that 3.675.064 people cast ballots with 109.294 invalid ballots.
Election Victor in Serbian Capital Still Uncertain
Serbia's ruling party, the Serbian Progressive Party, SNS, won the most votes of any party in Sunday's election for the Belgrade Assembly, but it is still not clear who will eventually form a new city government.

Results of the elections in Belgrade - SNS closest to forming the city government
Based on 57.2 percent of the processed sample, the list "Aleksandar Vui - Together we can do everything" won the most votes in Belgrade, i.e. 38.8 percent.
Republic Election Commission (RIK) announces election results: Vucic and SNS lead
Based on 89.68 percent of polling stations processed by the Republic Election Commission (RIK), the coalition gathered around the SNS "Together we can do everything" won the most votes in the parliamentary elections, with 43.67 percent.
Turnout is based on 89.68 percent of polling stations, 58.44 percent, it was announced on the RIK website at 7.15 a.m.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we estimate that about 3.804.000 people went to today's elections. The largest in recent times. According to Vucic, there were some unnecessary and meaningless tensions over minor issues during the day but everything ended peacefully," Vucic said at the very beginning of his address.
Serbian President, Ruling Party Won Elections
A Serbian-based NGO observing the parliamentary elections, CESID, said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic won another five-year term in the first round, and that his Serbian Progressive Party, SNS, had won the most votes at the parliamentary elections and will again dominate the 250-seat parliament.
