Police arrest 16-year-old over Exarchia polling station attack
Police in Athens on Thursday detained a 16-year-old Albanian youth in connection with an attack last Sunday on a building in the downtown neighborhood of Exarchia by vandals lobbing stones and bottles.
The building, which served as a polling station, was one of several attacked on Sunday when snap elections were held.
Anarchist group claims responsibility for stolen ballot box
An unknown anarchist group calling themselves Ballot-seeking Arsonists claimed responsibility on Monday for the stealing and burning of a ballot box in the central Athenian district of Exarcheia during Sunday's general elections.
Local elections underway in Belgrade, three other cities
BELGRADE - Polling stations in Belgrade, Bor, Arandjelovac and Sevojno opened at 7 am for Sunday's local elections.
The polling stations close at 8 pm, which will also mark the end of electoral silence.
Djilas votes in Vracar
BELGRADE - Mayoral candidate Dragan Djilas, who heads the electoral list "Belgrade is Deciding, the People are Winning" in Sunday's elections for the City Assembly, cast his vote in the municipality of Vracar.
He appeared at a polling station in the Jovan Miodragovic Primary School shortly after 8 am.

Spain: Catalans Head to Polls, Police Seize Ballot Boxes
Catalan residents have started casting ballots under the referendum on the region's independence from Spain with polling stations having opened at 9:00 a.m. local time (07:00 GMT), a Sputnik correspondent reported on Sunday.
Voting to be repeated at three more polling stations
Voting will be repeated in the presidential elections at three polling stations on Monday, April 17, the Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) has decided.
These polling stations are located in Novi Sad, Leskovac, and Trstenik.
Will of people impossible to ascertain in 11 polling places
The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) had decided to annul the results from 11 polling stations where it was "impossible to ascertain the will of the people."
The commission met in Belgrade on Friday "to rule on the manner in which the records of from these polling stations would be statistically processed."
Voting to be repeated in 8 polling stations
The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) on Wednesday ordered repeat presidential election at eight polling stations where it had annulled the voting.
The repeat elections are scheduled to take place on April 11 at polling stations in Kraljevo, Pancevo, Vrsac, Vrbas, Topola, Zrenjanin, Backa Palanka and the Belgrade municipality of Zvezdara.

Bulgarians Abroad Voting in 70 Countries
The Bulgarians residing abroad may cast their ballot today in a total of 371 polling stations across 70 countries, announced BNR.
There are 101 fewer stations in Turkey, compared to the 2014 election, as their number for states outside the EU now shouldn't exceed 35, according to the law.
