Bulgarians listen to pop and pop-folk music the most, according to a study by the Bulgarian Association of Music Producers (BAMP), cited by BTA. The research was conducted by the "Trend" agency among 1010 respondents.

Joker Out unhappy with result, thrilled by the experience
Slovenian indie pop band Joker Out have finished 21st at the Eurovision song contest, a result the band, though thrilled by the show and the experience, describes as disappointing.
The band got 78 points, 45 from juries and 33 from the televote, to place just ahead of Albania among the 26 entries in Saturday's final.

Slovenian entrants Joker Out made the cut in Thursday's second semi final of the Eurovision song contest alongside Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Lithuania and Poland. This will be the first time since 2019 that Slovenia will be in the final.

Half of Bulgarians Like Local Pop Folk Music Chalga
Almost 50% of Bulgarians like chalga. This is indicated by the results of a Trend poll. 48% of the participants answered positively whether they liked pop folk music. 41% of the respondents are of the opposite opinion.
'Black roses' are becoming more well-known
The black rose (Karagül), which can only be obtained in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa's Halfeti district in the world, draws great interest from tourists due to its color. The rose is used in making products such as jam, perfume, cologne, chocolate, soap and crème.
