Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos is considering not convening a meeting of political leaders after another three-day period to form a government given to the head of the newly formed Popular Unity party, Panayiotis Lafazanis, which expires on Thursday.

Kostas Lapavitsas, former SYRIZA MP, current member of the new break-off political party ‘Popular Unity’ and one the most fervent proponents of a return to the drachma since the crisis started, expressed the view that returning to a national currency was not the solution to the problem, but a means to an end, in an interview to Mega TV, Tuesday.
