Nikolic to pay two-day visit to Portugal
LISBON - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will be on a two-day state visit to Portugal on Wednesday and Thursday, the presidential press office announced in a statement Monday.
During the visit, which will mark 135 years of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Portugal, Nikolic will meet with top Portuguese officials.

Serbian and Portuguese presidents exchange decorations
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, who was welcomed in Lisbon earlier in the day, has been presented with the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
Nikolic received the decoration from Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
Serbian president welcomed in Lisbon at start of 2-day visit
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic was received in Lisbon on Wednesday with state honors by his Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
Nikolic will also meet with Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa and Parliament Speaker Eduardo Ferro Rodrigues, RTS is reporting.

Man topples 126-year-old statue while trying to take a selfie
A young man attempting to take a selfie with the statue of a 16th century Portuguese king ended badly when statue crashed to the ground and shattered, according to police.
As Reuters reported, the man accidentally toppled Dom Sebastiao’s statue after climbing up to its pedestal outside the ornate Rossio railway station in central Lisbon.
