Woman murdered by husband in Istanbul
A 28-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her husband on a street on the Asian side of Istanbul on Oct. 23.
Hülya Ãadırcı, a mother of two, had been living separately from her husband, Gökhan Ãadırcı, while the legal process for their divorce was ongoing, the report said.

During my academic career, I used to live in a basement a few meters away from the Ãankaya Presidential Mansion. Gülümsün, our daughter, had not started school yet. While taking her for walks, we would come across the flag ceremony of the Presidential Guard Regiment. I would explain to her Ãankayaâs importance.
