JusMin about Lazar's case: We will notify CCR; such abuses must not continue
Minister of Justice Tudorel Toader on Monday evening stated that he will notify the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) if President Klaus Iohannis rejects the request for the dismissal of Prosecutor General Augustin Lazar, maintaining that "such abuses must not continue."
Officers to appear in court over Kostopoulos death
An examining magistrate on Monday gave four police officers charged in connection with the death of LGBTQ activist Zak Kostopoulos in September until December 12 to prepare their defense.
The policemen are shown in a video hitting the 33-year-old.
