"All there is to be done is for the majority of the European Union to convince its five members that haven't yet recognized Kosovo and Serbia, too, to recognize it within the existing borders. The sooner that is done, the better for the region," Thaci tweeted, Beta agency reported.

Dacic said on Monday that "more concrete proposals and what a compromise solution (for Kosovo) would mean" will be discussed in September.

Thaci told a press conference on Wednesday that he "only meant adding the Presevo valley to Kosovo" when he spoke about "correcting the borders."
And at the same time, "there would be no partition of Kosovo nor autonomy for Kosovo Serbs," he said.

Dacic also pointed pointed out that he "does not know whether and when there will be a better opportunity."
The positions of Russia has changed by it becoming a great power, and one that now much closer to Serbia than it did 20 years ago - while the United States and its foreign policy have also changed, according to the minister.

There will be no partition, says Thaci
Thaci said after the meeting in Pristina on Thursday that he was concerned about their rights not being respected, but that they cannot be a part of a legally binding agreement with Belgrade.
"There will be no partition of Kosovo, and a legally binding agreement after the end of the dialogue will be signed between two independent states," Thaci told a press conference.
